Message from the President - June 2026

Welcome to June and what will no doubt be another beautiful month here on the South Island with the start of summer in just a couple of weeks! 

This month will be another busy one for the branch with many outside events occurring.  As you know, we provide many year-end breakfasts and barbeques for numerous schools here.  As always, we continue to need volunteers’ support so if you would like to assist us, please contact the branch. 

On that note, I want to mention that our membership has grown substantially since our re-opening after our re-construction.  This is all due to our dedicated staff and volunteers that allow us to provide such a wide array of services to the Westshore. 

As you may have noted, it is unfortunate that other branches have had to close due to declining memberships of both veterans and volunteers.  Our Branch 91 is so fortunate to have so much support from both veterans and non-veterans alike that allow us to continue to serve the community.  As always, it is our veterans we serve each month that are most vitally  important for our Langford Legion. 

I do want to take this opportunity to remind you that your executive and staff look forward to greeting you here during the summer months either for a game of pool or darts, a great meal or just a beverage on our patio.
