As we are about to close out another year and enjoy the Christmas season with family and friends, I want to thank all our valued members for their ongoing support of our Langford legion this past year. Thanks to your support, we can help numerous deserving causes in the West Shore every year.
This past November, we held our annual general meeting. We extend a warm welcome to our incoming executive and express our appreciation to those who have chosen not to seek re-election. Their dedication and service to the branch are greatly appreciated.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the commitment that distinguishes our legion. Bea Leblanc has demonstrated many years of exemplary service, and her ongoing dedication to our community is truly commendable. Bea’s contributions to Branch 91 have truly helped shape the character and spirit of our legion, and we are grateful for this enduring dedication. As she steps away from her role on the executive, we sincerely hope that we continue to have her as part of our team in the future.
On behalf of the executive, I also want to thank all our volunteers that work so hard each day throughout the year to help make so many events successful and to allow our kitchen services to remain open for our members. And again, if you are interested in helping us, please do not hesitate to contact the branch. As I have stated previously, we always require more help.
As the year closes, on behalf of the executive, I want to extend my warmest wishes to every one of you for a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. May the holiday season bring you joy, peace, and plenty of time with loved ones. Thank you for your ongoing support and for making Langford Legion a welcoming place for all. We look forward to welcoming you again in 2026!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Norm Scott
President
