Message from the President - February 2026

Welcome to February. Winter has been mild here on southern Vancouver Island to date, with longer days and better weather than much of the country. Hopefully, these conditions last as spring approaches. 

Our Langford Legion continues to maintain a dynamic schedule, encompassing daily, weekly, and numerous special events in our auditorium. This ongoing success is made possible through the commitment and dedication of our staff and volunteers. 

We are pleased to note the significant growth in our membership since our re-opening. However, many members still have not paid their 2026 dues.  We would like to remind those who have not yet renewed their membership for 2026 that timely payment of dues is essential for the continued successful operation of our branch.  

We kindly request that all outstanding dues be settled promptly. Please note that members who do not   renew will soon lose access to member benefits including discounted beverages for members in good standing.  It should also be noted that dues for new members are waived for this year .Thank you for your attention to this matter.  

It should also be noted that our legion is now in the process of hiring a full time Manager of Operations. If you know of any individual that may be interested in the  position, please contact our office.  

If you have time to volunteer in the kitchen or help set up for events, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
