VAC Nomination Request -Cyprus Commemorative Tour

Comrades,

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of UN Peacekeeping in Cyprus. To commemorate the occasion, Veterans Affairs Canada is giving the Royal Canadian Legion the opportunity to nominate one individual with service in Cyprus to accompany the official delegation to Cyprus for their revisit program from November 6-12, 2024.

Unfortunately, the Legion was given a short timeline and nominations will be due on Wednesday, September 18 by 12:00pm PDT to BC/Yukon Command.

The nomination process is as follows:

-  Fill out the attached nomination form

-  Include a separate page outlining the nominee’s service in Cyprus

-  Email the submission to info@legionbcyukon.ca by 12:00pm PDT on Wednesday, September 18th  

All nominations from BC/Yukon Command will be sent to Dominion Command for their consideration. Dominion Command will make their selection by the end of next week.
